Marina del Rey is an unincorporated seaside community in Los Angeles county. Fisherman’s Village offers a view of Marina del Rey's dominant feature, the Marina, the world’s largest man-made small craft harbor
The west side of Marina del Rey borders the pacific ocean, and includes the famous Venice Pier, as well as the popular Washington Avenue restaurant and nightlife district, adjacent to Venice Beach. This area, known as the Peninsula, has a number of single-level condos and multi-level townhomes. It’s possible to find a condo here that sits adjacent to the sand on one of the least-trafficked beaches in Los Angeles County.
East of the Peninsula is the marina, where there are a number of condo and townhome options of varying price ranges. Many developments include direct access to boat docks, and have a number of resort-style amenities. In addition, the marina has bike paths, multiple public parks, and many popular Los Angeles restaurants and cafes.
On the other side of Lincoln Blvd. is the most recently developed area of Marina del Rey, known as the Loft or Arts District. This area includes a number of new loft and modern developments that provide luxury and live/work-style living.
Marina del Rey has a number of new shopping and leisure developments that allow quick and easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, movie theaters and more. The neighborhood offers a safe, relaxed west side experience that is easily-accessible from most parts of the county (including LAX).
