Playa del Rey Market Update

In the last 60 days (ending October 27), there were 22 condos/townhomes sold in Playa del Rey.  In addition, there are currently 20 properties in escrow, and 31 active listings.  The average price for condos/townhomes in Play Del Rey that were sold in the last 60 days was $543,534 (funny coincidence!).  The average square foot was 997, and price per square foot for the area was $553.50.

This property sold for above asking at $611,000, and is a great example of what Playa del Rey has to offer in the way of condos/townhomes (single family space for a great price).

What does the recent activity tell us?  Playa del Rey is still a fantastic value on the westside, even in the current market.  It is walkable, has lots of public parks and open space, and is minutes from the sand.  You can bike to watch the sunset, grab a bite to eat in the Culver/Dockweiler intersection…there’s even a hip new bowling alley just east of Manchester Avenue.
